The museum is looking for a skilled volunteer who enjoys working in an office environment and has experience with data entry, especially record and gift maintenance. As a non profit we rely on our members and donors and a big part of that is an accurate record. If details and data is your thing, this is the right job for you!
Department: Development
Reports to: Database & Prospect Research Manager
Flexible Schedule: Volunteer on your schedule an your time! (Hours between 9am-4pm, M-F)
Responsibilities:
- gift entry, records maintenance
- gift acknowledgments, and use and support of computer-based information systems
- assistance with mailings and membership processing.
- Duties will vary depending upon skill level and interest.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Abilities
- Good knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Computer literacy is highly important. Knowledge of a wide variety of software is of significant importance, with the ability to train users in the most effective use of this software.
- Ability to learn, policies and procedures with minimal guidance.
- Ability to ensure the accurate processing of gifts and pledges and ensure processing deadlines are met.
- Maintain confidentiality
