Moving in the Spirit’s gifted teen artists collaborate with local and national choreographers to create powerful dances that celebrate diversity and make a difference in the world.
Dances explore teen self-identity, race, and other social justice issues relevant to youth.
Presented in partnership with 7 Stages Theatre’s Youth Creates.
Volunteer duties will include:
1. Ticket sales
2. Demographics
3. Ushering

Moving in the Spirit is an award winning creative youth development program that uses the discipline of dance to help children and teens develop the social, emotional and cognitive skills they need to thrive.
Description
Moving in the Spirit uses dance as a creative tool to help young people develop life skills and workplace values, reinforce school curriculum, give voice to issues pertinent to today's youth, and encourage the development of a healthy self-concept.
