The Sheltered Hearts Program provides children in shelter with structured activities designed to foster healthy development. Sitters work with staff to facilitate readings, music, art and other educational activities with the children giving moms the opportunity to run errands, hunt for apartments, and attend job interviews without worrying about finding childcare.

Sheltered Hearts Sitter shifts occur on an as-needed basis. We will reach out via email when a mom shares a childcare need with us.
