Community Education Partnerships works with homeless students as well as those facing housing instability. Currently we are in need of a volunteer tutor in Berkeley who can tutor a student in the 9th grade with algebra and geometry. We are in need of one tutor for Saturday needed from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tutoring will take place once a week for one hour per week.

Mission Statement
The mission of Community Education Partnerships (CEP) is to increase the learning opportunities and enhance the academic achievement of students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in the Bay Area.
Description
The primary function of CEP is to recruit and train volunteers to provide high-quality academic tutoring for children experiencing housing insecurity in the pre-kindergarten - 12th grade school system. Volunteers get matched with a student with whom they meet once per week, typically at a shelter or transitional home.
