The Cape Fear Literacy Council has a new Computer/Digital Literacy Program to help bridge the Digital Divide. Many people in our communities simply don't have the basic digital skills or access needed to navigate an online world. Searching the internet, using email, searching and applying for jobs, housing, or federal assistance, are all crucial for personal and career success.

We need volunteers/assistants for labs, classes and workshops. Curriculum and training provided. Flexible days and times to fit your schedule.
We have classes, open one-on-one labs and workshops at our permanent location at the Literacy Council and a Mobile Computer Lab (COWs- Computers on Wheels) equipped with laptops/WiFi to travel to our partner organizations: Good Shepherd Center, Step-Up Wilmington and NC Works.
Our mission is to provide adults and our partners in the Cape Fear Region with the digital literacy skills, information and leadership necessary to achieve their goals.
