Interfaith Caregivers is a community-based organization located in Haddonfield, NJ. We are always looking for passionate, reliable, and engaged volunteers who are willing to help us drive aging and disabled clients to medical appointments and on errands. Interfaith Caregivers facilitates independent living by providing supportive volunteer services for people who are 65+ or have disabilities.
Description
Our tagline, "It’s More than Just a Ride," captures the reality that our services are a lifeline for senior and disabled passengers with limited mobility and diminished community connections. In providing free supportive services seven days a week, we facilitate independent living for nearly 300 clients in Haddon Heights and Haddonfield and the adjacent communities by providing access to critical services, including medical appointments, shopping, and community programming. In addition, our companionship, and respite-care visits allow much-needed contact, helping our clients feel connected to the communities in which they live.
