Make an impact by tutoring students to help them thrive in reading or math. Our Reading Corps and Math Corps tutors work one-on-one or in small groups with students in preschool through 8th grade. Time commitment: 18, 25 or 35 hours per week. No experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training in research based, data-driven strategies. Our work is proven to help students become successful, confident learners. An evaluation shows Reading Corps students make greater gains than their peers - equal to a half to almost a full year of extra school.
Tutor Perks:
--Build your career skills, resume and network
--Get paid a stipend every two weeks
--Earn an education award to pay tuition or student loans. Tutors 55+ may gift the award to children or grandchildren
