7:10 Foundation is based in Sebeka MN. We are looking for spirited, committed individuals with the ability to plan, organize, and execute a successful fundraising event.
7:10 is a Christian ministry with work based in Haiti. Our main focus is widows but our ministry extends to orphans, medical needs, home building, and small business ventures.
Our vision is to hold an annual banquet or dinner that would include a meal and a presentation. We would like to see the opportunity to give, maybe a silent auction, raffle??? The possibilities are endless.
Individuals volunteering for this position would need to be comfortable talking about 7:10 with businesses and individuals, the budget for an event right now is $0... We would rely on donations of location, food, volunteers...
We would love to hold this banquet event annually in the early fall.
A trip to Haiti would not be a requirement, but we would not discourage you if you would choose to visit our ministry in Haiti.

Mission Statement
Our mission at 7:10 Foundation is to provide support to people in need, focusing on, but not limited to the people of Haiti. Driven by our faith in Christ we will share the Word of God. Primarily, we will focus our financial support on funding the construction of houses, (for widows on our property) churches, providing financial support for school supplies, food, hygienic items, and medical supplies. In addition to direct support, we will work to provide scholarship funding for students that want to pursue a career in the missionary field.
Description
7:10 Foundation was founded in 2014 with a vision to help widows in Haiti. The name comes from scripture, Zechariah 7:10. Following our calling from God, we have been able to purchase property in La Digue Haiti, and start building a widowage. This property will build homes for homeless widows, that have no place to live. The goal is to have them be self sustainable through trades like gardening and farming. As of May 1st, 2017 we have built 1 home for a widow, purchased 1 home for a widow, and provided housing for a widow while we raise money for another house on the widowage for her. We have also built 4 homes outside of the widowage for families in need.
We also tend to emergent needs for the poor, and follow up with discipleship through out our relationship with with anyone partnered with 7:10.
