Children's Program Volunteers assist school groups and other groups registered for an interpretive garden tour and school programs. The Brookside Garden's Children's Programs supports curriculum and national and state standards required for Montgomery County Public Schools.
Assist with groups, set-up and clean-up tables, assist children during hands-on activities, lead interpretive tour outside, reinforce lesson plans, assist with special projects.

Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
