To ensure that families have the relevant information about their visit to the centre or the services we offer. A point of contact for any questions or queries that the families have.

Desirable Skills:
- Administration/office skills
- IT Literate
- Ability to speak to people from all backgrounds
- Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to relate to disabled children, young people and their families.

Skills are desirable not essential, we will consider all applications and training will be given.

The new centre is based at Keele Science and Innovation Park so consideration will need to be made regarding transport
Volunteer expenses will be paid for out of pocket travel expenses (car, public transport)

Description

Caudwell Children provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK. We also provide autism assessment and support at our purpose built Caudwell Internation Children's Centre based in Staffordshire.

Passionate, positive and practical; we are motivated to improve the lives of the estimated 770,000 disabled children living in the UK, starting with the 400,000 living in or on the margins of poverty.

We can help with:

- Family support services and short break activities

- ASD assessments from our multidisciplinary clinical team

- Funded mobility and sensory equipment

- Access to life saving surgeries and treatments

- Life changing therapy and support programmes for children with brain injuries and their families
