Volunteer Child Care Assistants needed to help Support our Foster Care and Adoption Program Information Sessions.
Help provide child care to children of parents who are seeking information on becoming adoptive families, or resource families.
Volunteers are needed on second Monday of each month to volunteer at our Wilmington office.
August 12th, September 9th, October 14th, November 11 and December 9th.
- Help preschool through school age children with arts and crafts, play games, play music, play with toys and supervise activities in a playroom setting.
- A pizza dinner will be offered to volunteers and the children.
- Time needed is from 5:30 PM-8:00 PM.
- All volunteers must complete a criminal background check.

Children and Families First offers a wide variety of services to the community. These services include adoption, foster care, counseling, numerous teen services, and parent education services. We provide these services at 12 locations throughout Delaware, in homes, in schools and other community locations. Children and Families First is a member of the United Way of Delaware, the Child Welfare League of America and the Alliance for Children and Families. We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
