SCHRA needs volunteers to help with client check in, distribution of supplies to clients, and general set up and clean up before, during, and after each Saturday syringe access program takes place.

Mission Statement
Southern Colorado Harm Reduction Association’s (SCHRA) mission is to promote and provide services, support, education, and continuous quality improvement in the health of those directly or indirectly affected by addiction throughout Colorado.
Description
SCHRA’s mission involves helping those in our community with chemical dependency reduce the harm they cause themselves -- as well as the surrounding community -- by aligning them with services they need, through community partners, to address their underlying issues. These services include but are not limited to medical assistance, food, housing assistance, employment, and addiction treatment services.

- An orientation/meet and greet must be scheduled and completed with one of the staff as well as a few simple forms signed before one can begin working as a volunteer.
