We need a good number of crafty volunteers of any age (including preschool, scout troops, seniors, etc) who are interested in coloring, painting, or otherwise decorating brown gift bags in which we put dog and cat "medicine chest essentials" and homemade toys to give to families as they adopt our rescue dogs and kittens from the Greenfield, WI PetSmart.
We provide the brown gift bags, and you provide the dog and cat-themed art work. You can feel free to sign your first name on them, as well.
This would be a good project for senior craft groups, scout troops, and even art students and professional artists, to add a personal touch which reminds us all that there are many loving hands that touch the paths of rescue dogs and cats into their new homes.

Mission Statement
We seek to find homes for thousands of dogs (and sometimes cats) from Texas and surrounding states in order to prevent dogs from euthanization for lack of space in animal shelters, as well as dying on the streets and in rural areas.
Description
We are currently focused on fostering and fully vetting homeless dogs and moving them to the northern United States, and away from the pet overpopulation crisis in Texas, where over 96,000 dogs were euthanized in shelters for lack of space last year.
