Nomi Network Cambodia exists to train, empower, equip, and connect industry leaders to local organizations that work with vulnerable communities where there are high instances of human trafficking. We exist to strengthen their businesses and technical capacity and create more jobs in the community.

Nomi Network Cambodia is now offering an exciting new volunteer opportunity for fashion industry professionals to share expertise with local partners in the ethical fashion and manufacturing sector. We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to provide teaching at Nomi International Fashion Training (NIFT) in the following areas:

1: Design | fashion illustration and design concepts

2: Accessory and Jewelry Design

3: Pattern Making

4: Merchandising

5: Marketing

6: Production

7: Retail

8: Textiles

Preferred Skill Level*:

• Knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience in any of the above categories;
• Formal training or higher education in fashion and/or garment manufacturing;
• Must possess interest and passion to train and teach others in a developing country;
• Fluent in English;
• Ability to make complex concepts simple;
• Flexibility under challenging and potentially unfamiliar settings.

*More important than teaching experience and qualifications on paper is a drive to work with people who aspire to work in the fashion industry. We have developed a system and lesson plan format to set you up for success in imparting your expertise.

Duration:

Min. 1 week intensive course. - up to 4 days training

Preferred duration: 3-4 weeks - up to 3 days training each week
