Do you love to drive? Do you want to help people in need? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
The American Red Cross is looking for volunteer drivers to transport life-saving blood and blood products from our Spring Garden location to local Philadelphia area hospitals. Help us make a difference and enjoy a flexible schedule while doing something that you love!
All you need to become a volunteer driver is:
- A valid Driver's License
- At least 3 years driving experience with no significant moving violations
- The ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds (20.4 kg) in and out of a vehicle
- Have availability to serve a minimum of two 4-hour shifts per month
It's that simple!
The application process includes a background check and motor vehicle record check. Even better, this opportunity is flexible; you pick your shifts!
