We have once a month event in which we need hands-on, energetic and kid-loving volunteers to help us connect with the families and youth in the City of Hamilton. Alive After 5 happens on the first Thursday of the month May through October (July is the second Thursday due to the holiday). Volunteers would arrive just before the event to go over an easy, hands-on activity and receive an assignment. Typically, the event runs until 9, but we typically see a decrease in attendance around 7:30. We will let our volunteers leave as early as possible. Volunteers can also expect to have time to take a break and walk around the event. It is a great time to connect with the arts community in Hamilton, as well as explore our city! Volunteers do not have to make a season long commitment, however, are more than welcome to do so if they love AA5 as much as we do!
