Litter pollutes local waterways, harms wildlife, and is bad for the local economy. And it sticks around for years.

Keep Smyrna Beautiful needs volunteers to pickup litter off the roadways for our quarterly Adopt-a-Mile program. By participating in litter clean up, you will be helping the environment and wildlife in Smyrna.

The shift is from 8:30am-11:30am. We welcome both individual volunteers or groups of up to 15 for this event. Individual volunteers will either join an established Adopt-a-Mile group or individuals will form a group and we will designate a roadway for you to clean.

Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes for this event and will have a safety training prior to going out and volunteering.

Children 12 and up are welcome to volunteer. Anyone under the age of 18 years old will need to have a signed waiver and a parent/guardian present. Youth groups of 3 or more need to have 1 adult for each 3 minors.
