The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for individuals in psychiatric crisis is an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, providing community based stabilization for individuals experiencing psychiatric crisis and determined appropriate for outpatient care. We help client resolve their crisis, reduce psychotic symptoms, and reintegrate individuals into the community and provide support services and link to community resources.
All meals are provided for residents from food picked out from the Cleveland Food Bank. You can assist CSU staff by helping pick up and loading food to be brought back to the unit. Once back at the CSU, you'll help unload from the agency video and prepare food for the rest of the week.

- Shifts are Wednesday mornings from 8:00am-1:00pm. We ask for a six month commitment and at least two shifts per month.
- Volunteers for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
