Provide Case Management services to senior adults over age 60. You will complete Needs Assessments. You will help find resources for seniors who may be in need of food, in-home support, utility assistance, or transportation. You will help with data entry and filing. You will improve your skills in observation, documentation, listening, and interpersonal skills. Best for Juniors/Seniors/Graduates in Sociology, Social Work, Gerontology, and Human Development majors. Internships are 120 - 250 Hours during quarter/semester. English-Spanish helpful. Students must be fingerprinted. Openings in Senior Nutrition for Summer and Fall 2020. (Spring is full.)

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
