Provide Case Management services to senior adults over age 60. You will complete Needs Assessments. You will help find resources for seniors who may be in need of food, in-home support, utility assistance, or transportation. You will help with data entry and filing. You will improve your skills in observation, documentation, listening, and interpersonal skills. Best for Juniors/Seniors/Graduates in Sociology, Social Work, Gerontology, and Human Development majors. Internships are 120 - 250 Hours during quarter/semester. English-Spanish helpful. Students must be fingerprinted. Openings in Senior Nutrition for Summer and Fall 2020. (Spring is full.)

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Must commit to minimum of one school quarter or semester. Be able to volunteer consistently on same day(s) of week during business hours (weekends not available).
  • Able to follow directions. Attend training on how to completing assessments and accurate documentation, HIPAA, working with seniors, safety, signs of elder abuse and mandated reporting.
