Reboot Theatre Company is looking to expand and gain some theatrical and socially conscious members.
We are specifically looking for volunteers in the following areas:
--to join the Reboot board. We are a working board, looking to diversify and represent those voices which we champion. Seeking those who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty but also willing to continue to help fundraise and connect to those potential donors in the community.
--Accounting help.
--Website/technical expertise
--Marketing assistant/social media presence
--Administrative assistance

Description
It started with thirty women in an apartment common room reading from scripts and singing to a lone keyboard. After an extremely successful fundraising campaign, including a sold-out cabaret, a "What if" conversation turned into the nation’s first fully realized all-female production of 1776 in a 300 seat house at Magnusson Park.
After repeatedly hearing, "After the first five minutes, I forgot you all were women!", we knew we had something special. If an audience could suspend its disbelief while watching a woman play Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin, what else could we attempt?
Reboot strives to find where context breaks the story, and we've continued to do so. Over the past four seasons, we've made gender-blind casting a mainstay and opened the conversation in Seattle to more opportunities to those who are marginalized and seek representation. We continue to push the boundaries by highlighting social causes that are indicated in our productions. We work within the community to continue the dialogue into how theatre should change ALL hearts and minds, not just the status quo.
