SNKC provides many resources beyond spay/neuter surgery and basic preventive care to pets. We also have pet supplies and food on hand to give pet owners who are in need.
We need volunteers to help with a special project this week! We need to move our stored dog houses, kennels, crates, and other large outreach and clinic supplies from a small storage area to a larger area within the same facility.
Heavy/bulky item lifting will be required. Volunteers must be able to be on their feet, bend, lift, and crouch for up to 2 hours. Experience using a pallet jack is very helpful but not required.
We will provide bottled water and light snacks.
Choose your preferred day and time frame -- you can even choose multiple if you desire. Volunteers will be led by an SNKC staff member. Here's the schedule:
- Tuesday, May 28th: 10 am-12 pm or 2 pm-4 pm
- Wednesday, May 29th: 10 am-12 pm or 2 pm-4 pm
- Thursday, May 30th: 10 am-12 pm or 2 pm-4 pm
- Friday, May 31st: 10 am-12 pm or 2 pm-4 pm
Groups of 5-10: This is an excellent opportunity for small groups!
We will meet you at the Dean's Downtown Underground elevator entrance (the address listed here). You must have reliable transportation to/from the facility.
