This is the time of year when we look to fill out our team of judges for the coming season- 2019-2020.
This is a one year commitment from July 1 to June 30.
Requirements:
1. Need to have good solid transportation.
2. Need to have a computer and an internet connection.
3. Need to have a love of theatre.
Duties:
1. See every show in your category.
2. Keep an open mind about the range and depth of the performances
you will see.
3. Keep confidential your opinions about the shows you will see.
Value:
1. Be a part of the growing Sacramento Theatre Community.
2. Make a difference in the paths of local theatre.
3. See and enjoy a lot of local theatre.

Mission Statement
The Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance is an alliance of producing organizations, individual theater artists and technicians and administrators formed to foster and promote high quality theater in the Sacramento area and neighboring regions. Its purpose will be: to provide services for their mutual benefit; to develop and facilitate effective communication within the alliance and between the Alliance members and the community; and to serve as a resource center which offers and provides technical support, information and resource sharing for all community members.
Description
SARTA is an informational clearinghouse for over 70 local and regional community theatres in the greater Sacramento area. SARTA hosts a website at www.sarta.com and sends twice weekly e-mail updates that feature upcoming productions, auditions, jobs, workshops, classes and special events. SARTA offers low cost theatre related workshops and proudly administers the Elly Award program which recognizes excellence in community theatre for the past 38 years each September.

- This is a one year commitment from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. It is primarily a Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun schedule. You must attend all shows in your category and will receive two complimentary tickets. There is a lot of driving!
- Volunteers must be willing to follow instructions and turn in scoring reports in a timely fashion.
