We are currently looking for an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Janitor (Non-paid position). The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and can handle emergency cleaning and upkeeping request as the need arises. The Volunteer Janitor will be responsible for cleaning the Board Room, bathrooms, staff kitchen and both lobbies in the Administration building and Emergency Shelter. In addition to mopping and sweep floors, clean out the refrigerator and restock items as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity gain experience and volunteer hours for your resume.

Must be able to:

1. Perform general clean up in the administration building and emergency shelter; bathroom, lobby, counseling rooms.
2. Remove garbage from offices, kitchen, and bathrooms daily.
3. Ensure all office are vacuumed, tile is swept and mopped.
4. Restock bathrooms and lobbies as needed.
5. Clean refrigerator out weekly.
6. Wash dishes as needed.
7. Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
8. Willing to work mornings (between 8:00AM-12:00PM).
9. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
10. Ability to take directions.
11. Pays attention to detail.
12. Able to physically lift up to 20 pounds if necessary.
