Are you a regular Picasso? Fancy yourself a bit of a Shakespeare? Well, we want you! We're writing postcards to chronically or terminally ill children in hospitals around the globe. Join us for a hot drink, and send some smiles across the miles to brighten the lives of those who need it most.
You don't need to be remotely artistic, I promise. I have all the stickers and doo-dahs you'll need to create miniature artwork which will brighten a sick child's day. Or you can choose one of the many picture postcards and just say "hi!". All you need to bring is your wonderful self and a smart-phone on which to access the website for children's names. If you can't imagine what to say to a hospitalised child, don't worry. I'll have a hard-copy of guidelines and inspirational suggestions. Alternatively, you could send a card or letter of support to the child's parents or siblings. You're welcome to write the postcard first at home (or anywhere convenient), drop it off to us here, and we'll cover the postage!
This is a micro-volunteering event so you are equally welcome to pop in for 20mins or stay for the entire event.

We're for people who want to meet passionate volunteers, and engage in fun activities whilst doing good via direct action. The micro-volunteering causes we currently support include the environment, children, disaster response, and the disadvantaged amongst our community; through partners such as Send Kids the World, Journey Nepal, ACV, Spires, and Be Enriched.
Join us to take direct action on causes you care about. Meet passionate volunteers like yourself. Contribute from home, or meet us in cafes and public places to write, knit, plant, learn and teach together, and make doing good a daily habit.
