Our 8 week Summer U session begins June 10 and ends Aug 1. I won't need any volunteers for June 10 or Aug 1 but will need a number of volunteers to assist with activities at our ten schools on weekdays beginning June 11 and ending July 31.
I need volunteers that can commit to specific dates throughout the summer to assist with activities such as Big Bubbles, Worm Study, International Mud Day, Water Days, Cause and Effect, and others. There's something for everyone! If you have a particular area of expertise/skill, sign up and let's figure if we can incorporate it. Arts, Sciences, Musicians, Environmental topics, Expressive Readers, ...we can use a lot of diversity in programming.
I am hosting an orientation for Summer U volunteers on Monday June 3 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at CAP Headquarters at 5330 E. 31st St., Suite 300. You'll fill out volunteer paperwork, have an orientation to all of the amazing work done by CAP Tulsa in our community and go over the Volunteer Handbook. And I want to know your interests and skills!
