Minecrafters Assistant
ORGANIZATION: Eugene Public Library
Please visit the new page to apply.
Minecrafters is a fun, high-energy program at the downtown Eugene Public Library.
Children age 6 - 12 are invited to come to a safe, group Minecraft build challenge time. Volunteers do not need to have prior Minecraft experience, but should be interested in learning a bit about it.
We have two open shifts:
- Mondays 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Volunteers come help set up signs, turn on computers, and help children understand the challenge of the week. As you learn more about Minecraft, you can help children maneuver the game as well.
Minecrafters is a fantastic game for challenging children to problem-solve, think creatively and critically, as well as learning how to be respectful game players around others in the game.
If you think this sounds like a good opportunity for you, please contact me to talk about next steps in the process!
