FOOD for Lane County’s Summer Food Program has more than 40 sites in the community that provide a free lunch to children aged 2 to 18. By becoming a VOLUNTEER SITE SUPERVISOR you can help nourish our kids. It only takes two hours a day, Monday through Friday. We ask for a commitment of two weeks. The program requires use of your own vehicle, ability to lift 40 pounds and a food handler’s card. FFLC will conduct a background check and there will be mandatory training. This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity where you can involve your own children and family.
