St. Paul's Center began utilizing family meals to help create a sense of community and ensure that all our moms had a basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking, and nutrition. Moms rotate the responsibility of preparing dinner for the guests in the shelter every day. Our guests are always eager for extra help while cooking and many enjoy learning how to cook new foods. We are looking for volunteers interested in leading cooking classes or helping our guests prepare a meal for the house every week.
