i-Renew June 2019 Potluck!
ORGANIZATION: Iowa Renewable Energy Association
Please visit the new page to apply.
i-Renew is excited to invite you to join us for an informal potluck on Tuesday June 18th at the Jordan Solar Center located at Prairiewoods in Hiawatha! We’d like to provide a no pressure opportunity for interested members of the community to learn more about what i-Renew does and whether or not it's something you may want to contribute to in the future, either as a potential volunteer or a dedicated board member. We’re passionate about spreading the ideals of renewable energy and conservation to all of Iowa and would love for you to be a part of the cause!
Here's an overview of the event:
- 6:30-7:00 Starting off with the important stuff: the free food. You are more than welcome to bring your own dish and refreshments as well.
- 7:00-7:30 The current board will walk you through a brief history of i-Renew and some of our current projects and goals to give you an idea of where we came from and where we’re going. Learn all about upcoming volunteer opportunities and how you can help.
- 7:30-8:00 We’ll finish the potluck with a tour of the Jordan Solar Center as well as a demonstration of the Imagine Energy Traveler, a demonstration trailer displaying an assemblage of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
We look forward to meeting you!
