The volunteer will work under the direct guidance of the Assistant Director. Program assistant will be involved in a variety of administrative/management tasks that are vital to WEOP’s daily operations and programs. The following is a sample of responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning of special events and programs
- Develop calendars, timelines and and electronic communication (including social media) for events
- Manage special WEOP projects
- Provide support to the Assistant Director
- Coordinate business round tables and member meetings
- Conduct research and gather information for special reports and newsletters
- Track and monitor Google analytics and social media

Mission Statement
Provide programs and services for disadvantaged women and girls that promote social change, improve family economic self-sufficiency and provide opportunities in training, employment and business. The organization also serves as a resource to advocate, educate and address the social disparities that impact women.
Description
Since the opening of the training center in 1999, over 1,000 women annually have benefited from the programs and services. WEOP responds to the needs of participants with a host of services and programs that focus on skill building, career counseling, and specialized educational workshops
