Big Trucks Summer Event - Wednesdays in July Each event will feature story times, truck demonstration and games. Volunteers will assist with event preparation, tear down and during the event activities; shift will be from 8am-12pm; Pre-event volunteer meeting will be on June 26th, 11-12pm at Utility Exploration Center. All volunteers must go through background check prior to volunteering. The Roseville Utility Exploration Center exists to educate, by engaging kids and adults from Roseville and beyond. We aim to amaze with what our utilities do every day, as well as inspire stewardship at home-and reflect on the interconnectedness between utility, customer, community, and planet.
Description
We are committed to teaching sustainability in the home, school and community. Join us and educate the community of new ways to save water, maximize energy savings, reduce waste and protect the watershed. Jointly funded and operated by the Roseville Electric Utility and Environmental Utilities departments of the City of Roseville, the Exploration Center takes you inside the systems that make the city work.
