Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 2 people are interested

HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) is designed to improve the quality of life physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially for individuals with special needs and veterans. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of riders from preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We teach both mounted, unmounted, and farm experience classes! We empower people through the spirit of the horse!

We need volunteers who will act as a side walker (walking next to the rider at all times), lead the horse, or help with the morning farm experience classes. This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining our organization as the more volunteers we have, the more participants we can teach! You do NOT need experience with horses to volunteer!

We have evening riding classes and we have morning group classes. Morning classes consist of both riding and a "farm experience" portion.
****Training is required to be PATH (Professional Assoc. of Therapeutic Horsemanship) compliant.

Please join us for ONE of our Training Dates:
Sunday, June 2nd 1:30-4:30 pm (arrive between 1-1:15 to turn in paperwork and registration)
We will be having trainings monthly- please sign up to keep informed even if you cant make this one!

If you are interested in working with our horses the Intro to Leading Training date: TBD - let us know your interest!

PLEASE RSVP to hold your SPOT and get paperwork and information: hretvolunteer@gmail.com
