A 66 year old woman living with ALS is looking for someone to clean her 2 bathrooms and change the sheets on her bed. Because of her ALS, she’s not able to do the physically intensive work of cleaning the bathrooms nor does she have the strength or dexterity in her hands to change the sheets. Because she works, she needs someone who can volunteer on the weekend for an hour at a time.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
