Denver's South Pearl Farmers Marketis going for Zero Waste! Join us every Sunday, May 26th - November 17th from 9am - 1pm for a perfect Colorado experience, located on the 1400 - 1500 blocks of South Pearl Street. This farmers market is a staple for locals and a reason to make South Pearl Street a Sunday volunteer destination!
We will be working hard to start the first year of this event off with it's highest diversion rate. We're hoping to keep as much of the event's waste from going to the landfill as possible. Which is why we need volunteers like YOU to help out!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie", making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event!
There are two shifts available for 2 hours each: 9:00am-11:00am and 11:00am-1:00pm. You are welcome to sign up for several shifts!
