Sitting bedside for patients in the last days and hours of their lives. Someone may have a family member or friend that is sitting with them and needs relief for a few hours, or days. Someone may not have any family or friends that are willing to or able to sit vigilantly at the bedside while our patient is actively passing away. So, we will hold their hands, talk to them, pray with them, say encouraging words to them, letting them know it is okay to pass. Being available to help patients transition.
