Generation Smith Ranch Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is in search of Volunteers for our therapeutic recreation department to join our team. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility has an outstanding reputation in the healthcare industry with an excellent rating for quality patient care. Essential Volunteer Duties (include but are not limited to):

· Delivery of Services and Programs for Resident Activities

· Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations

· Facilitating Activities including arts and crafts, adaptive sports and special events.

· Provide room visit with the patient and offer to do activities such as board games, card games, knitting etc.

· Plan special event

· Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age

· Ability to demonstrate respect for and patience with retirement age residents, and desire to enhance residents’ lives

· Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, and Excel
