Camp Bridges is a day-long bereavement camp for children who have lost a parent or other loved one to homicide, suicide, or another traumatic event. Such unexpected loss can make a child feel all alone and "different" from other children. Camp Bridges brings together sixty children who have had similar experiences for a fun and healing day.

Volunteer at Camp Bridges. You will have a meaningful and fun experience that will contribute to creating a lasting positive impact on the lives of these children. You will be matched as a Volunteer Buddy to a child and support them as they memorialize their lost loved one during therapeutic crafts and participate with them in group games and activities. Volunteer orientation is required and includes a review of the impact of trauma on children and the ways in which volunteers and staff work together to support campers.
