This volunteer opportunity assists at law enforcement trainings. Emergency response training involves citizens in the training giving them confidence that first responders know what to do. It also helps our volunteers understand ways that they can be effective in response to an event without interfering.

During these specific trainings, volunteers will act as citizens during an act of violence where law enforcement responds. Your role as an "actor" will vary depending on what the specific training scenario is.

Trainings may involve simulated gunfire, explosions, loud noises, sirens and shouting.
