Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies would like to invite you to our first monthly meeting for volunteers and CERT members, BRACE the Community.
This month you will have an opportunity to tour the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for Escambia County and learn more about how the community handles disastrous situations.
You will also meet the newest volunteers from BRACE and learn about our upcoming events.
Finally, Captain Craig Ammons will be teaching Firefighter Rehab Training. Come learn how you can help the Pensacola Firefighters when they need you the most!
Thank you, and we are looking forward to meeting with you.

1301 W GOVERNMENT ST, PENSACOLA, FL 32502, US
Mission Statement
To reduce loss of life, injury, property damage, environmental impact and economic loss due to disaster, through fostering communication, cooperation, collaboration and coordination among community, faith-based, non-profit, private and public organizations active in one or more phases of emergency management.
Description
BRACE serves a key coordinative role with our Partners during major emergencies. BRACE is assigned a seat at the Escambia County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), allowing the organization to serve as a link with partner organizations throughout the community during an emergency, ensuring coordination of effort, minimizing duplication, and addressing gaps in service.
The County’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan indicates: "BRACE will coordinate social and support services utilizing local, donated and purchased resources from its membership and the community abroad to meet individual, unmet needs and manage and maintain social service casework where appropriate."
BRACE is also the sponsoring organization for the CERT program.
