Pre-sale Set Up: Biggest Little "Garage" Sale to Benefit Food/Nutrition Access

Pre-sale move of items from storage building downtown into vehicles (have 3, more welcome and appreciated!), then unload items at residential garage-sale location 1.7 miles away off Keystone Avenue, Reno. Weekend sale of items ranging for household goods to commercial equipment benefits local non-profit, On Common Ground, to reduce hunger and food waste while improving food access.

When: Friday, May 31st between 5:00PM-8:00PM pre-sale

Why: Proceeds help provide food access in under-served areas through On Common Ground to help feed hungry people and reduce food waste. We’re excited that a mobile truck has been donated to begin the food loop and grocery store fixtures have been donated for the sliding-scale market(s).

What:Bring a friend and have fun! There are so many different things for sale we anticipate OCG's normal wide-range of participants. There's a little bit of nearly everything from a theme party supplies to full bar assemblies to LED lighting systems to dirt-bike helmets, dishes and sleds.

Dress code: Comfy and cozy. We'll have OCG buttons for volunteers. Layers, dress for Northern NV's crazy weather~Pants, shorts, coat, comfy/warm walking shoes

Where: Meet at 45 West 2nd Street, Reno. Corner of 2nd/Sierra St across from Pizza Reno; Volunteer parking validation for 1st St Parking Garage (Corner of Sierra/1st). Bring your parking ticket with you :). Call 775-345-5227 for entry on 2nd Street side by large Fashion Show poster.

Who: Groups or individuals welcome. Anyone under 18 must have signed waiver from parent/guardian. We ask that anyone under age of 12 is accompanied by parent/guardian.

Help is also welcome before and during the sale @ 1510 Royal Drive, Reno. Set up begins at 6A on Sat. June 1 & again Sun. June 2

Hardware & Tools: From handtools to radial saw, scaffolding and scissor lift

Restaurant, Lounge, Nightclub: Walk-ins, Stainless, Sinks, fridges, ice maker

Furniture: Couches, tables, desks, shelves, ottomans
