EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Join us to celebrate our brand new partnership with Democracy Brewing,! We will gather at the brewpub on Temple Place in Downtown Boston (look for our reserved area) for a fun evening and to kickoff our new partnership. One Brick Boston will also provide light complimentary appetizers for our volunteers.
More details will be provided closer to the date of the event.
Get to know others who are also interested in giving back to the community while enjoying a wide selection of craft beers. Bring some friends, meet new people, and learn about all of our awesome upcoming volunteer opportunities. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:This is a 21+ event.
WHERE TO MEET:Democracy Brewing is located at 35 Temple Place in Downtown Boston near Downtown Crossing. We will have a reserved area for One Brick volunteers (more details to be provided closer to the event)
We recommend taking public transportation as there is limited parking in the area. The closest MBTA stops are Downtown Crossing (Red/Orange Lines), and Park Street (Green/Red Lines).

Description
Headquartered in San Francisco, California, One Brick is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that brings volunteers together to support other local non-profits by adopting an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering, and after each volunteer event -- which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours -- we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or caf where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting.
Our 'commitment-free volunteering' allows you to choose when you volunteer, rather than having to make commitments for a certain number of volunteer hours, or agree to be available every week at a specific time.
