CHI Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care
Home-bound Hospice patients need someone to check in with them weekly
If you enjoy talking with people and giving them good customer service, we need you on our Thursday call team.
CHI Franciscan and Palliative Care has created a volunteer team of callers that reach out weekly to ensure people have everything they need for the weekend.
Callers find the weekly touch-ins rewarding and very well received, while the patients become more confident in and less stressed about their care.
Please Contact James Bentley, Volunteer Coordinator 253-538-4649 to apply and to schedule an orientation.

To affirm life. To ask people how they want to live their final days. To provide quality Hospice services in a timely manner to all who qualify regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic background or ability to pay. To enhance the care of all dying in the community by education and example.
Franciscan Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care, and promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them.
We'll work with your schedule.
