About PROSPERITY CONNECTION
Location:
3651 FOREST PARK AVE, SAINT LOUIS, MO 63108, US
Mission Statement
Helping individuals and families earn economic independence through free access to financial education, development services, and low-cost banking options.
Description
At Prosperity Connection, we believe in the power of financial education and the transformational results it can bring to the community. So, in working with our social service and community partners, we created the Excel Center(r), a destination point and trusted source for FREE financial literacy classes, individual, goal-focused financial coaching, life skills education, professional development, and much more. The Excel Center offers a platform to promote and encourage self-sufficiency and financial dignity through the power of education and development services.
Prosperity Connection has launched two RedDough(r) Money Centers to serve the St. Louis metro area: Pagedale and South St. Louis City. RedDough is a small-dollar loan store that also offers check cashing and other alternative banking services. We provide an affordable alternative to traditional check cashing and payday lending, while presenting a true pathway to economic independence. In addition, its mission is to give back to the communities it serves by providing resources to support financial education, scholarships and various social services.
Prosperity Connection (formerly known as the St. Louis Community CU Foundation) was established in 2009 by the Board of Directors of St. Louis Community Credit Union. The Board recognized that many individuals in our community lacked sufficient access to vital financial resources and opportunities.
