• Arrive for staff check in
• Unstructured time-mingling with teens, learning names, working on projects such as a puzzle, art project, something that you like doing that allows you to be present around the students while not asking anything of them. Invite questions and allow students to "help" or try it out. It is important that there are no expectations from STC personnel at this time beyond the basic agreement of respect.
• Meal time: support teen body during announcements, check-in, sign up for Afternoon Choice. Visit with teens during meal. Assist with clean up or transition to Programs. Help OM as needed.
• Program Choice: assist with one of the following
• Indoor/Outdoor exercise
• Homework Help
• Literacy Program -book group
• Scheduled activities such as bowling, volunteer projects in the community, etc.
• Various class trade enrichment
• Job skill development: resume preparation, job applications, mock interviews, support for actual interview if appropriate
• Help teens with clean up and sign out
• Provide input at staff debrief
