Description
UpWorks is a Christian nonprofit committed to assisting individuals who are underprivileged through two initiatives, Empowering and Restoring Adults, and Cultivating Kids. UpWorks focus is to walk alongside individuals to achieve their God-given potential.
- Enriching Schools’ aim is to help prepare and empower volunteers to serve the public schools by building consistent and committed relationships through tutoring, serving and caring.
- Empowering Adults’ aim is to reduce unemployment and underemployment among individuals facing significant barriers to sustainable employment. Christians, serving in the Life Advocate role, along with UpWorks’ staff collaborate with clients in developing goals toward education and/or employment.
