We are looking for a person to assist our Vocational Training Program participants find the right job. You will be the liaison between ASD Adult Achievement Center and employer partners. This position requires strong written and verbal skills as well as being detailed oriented and able to track employment activity for several graduates. Additionally, you must have the ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with a range of employer partners as well as the participants of our program. You must also be comfortable with public speaking and working in a team environment. You must be able to represent ASD Adult Achievement Center in a professional manner. This position will be in charge of coordinating activities of job placement service for students and graduates of our Vocational Training program. You will engage with applicants to determine qualifications and eligibility for employment. You will assist individuals to develop employment plans based on appraisals of interests, personality characteristics and aptitudes. You must be comfortable contacting prospective employers to determine needs and to explain placement service. Previous job placement experience and established connections within community businesses and organizations is a plus. This is a contract position with compensation based on successful job placement.

ASD Adult Achievement Center is a non-profit provider of services for individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Founded in 2016, ASD Achievement serves adults 18 and over who desire greater independence. ASD Achievement provides training and education in the areas of independent life skills, social skills, executive function skills and job readiness skills to Central Florida residents.
