Are you a high school student between the ages of 15 and 17? Are you looking to complete meaningful volunteer work over the summer? Alzheimer's Family Center has opportunities for you!
Alzheimer's Family Center is an adult day health care facility providing memory care services and caregiver support. We regularly need volunteers to assist us engage with our patients! This includes, but is not limited to, playing bingo, dominos, doing art projects, and engaging patients in conversations. We ask for a regular commitment of 1 hour per week. We are open 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Saturday.

Alzheimer's Family Center is committed to offering community-based long-term care programs in a therapeutic environment structured to meet the needs of functionally impaired adults and to provide respite and supportive services to their families.
Description
Adult Day Health Care. Patients benefit from Recreational activities plus a range of health-related services designed to maximize independence.
Social Day Care. A full day of activities includes music and art therapy, exercise and physical games current events, memory enhancement.
