OUTLINE OF VOLUNTEER’S RESPONSIBILITIES: Event volunteers assist on the event day for set-up, guest assistance and registration or clean up. Volunteers may also choose to be involved in event planning.
SUPPORT PLAN: Event volunteers work under the direction of various members of the event committee, staff or other volunteers, who will provide task-specific training.
TIME COMMITMENT: Event day volunteers will typically be asked to commit at least 3 hours. Participation on an event planning committee typically requires larger time commitments over several months.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Depends on tasks.
BENEFITS: Depending on the type of event, volunteers may be able to attend the event free of charge or at a reduced price. All volunteers are invited to appreciation events to receive rewards or may also receive donated rewards via email or postal mail. Event volunteers also have the opportunity to learn new skills from professionals, meet others in the community, while supporting youth and their families.

Challenge corporations and their employees to stay committed to improving the lives of youth locally and across the nation.
Organize community events, leadership workshops, and support ideologies that improve the lives of single-parent households.
Develop a Passage Fund that provides supportive services and financial assistance to at-risk youth who excel in their community and schools.
Develop a Purpose Fund to provide supportive services and financial assistance to single-parent households.
Focus On The Future, Inc. is a collaborative effort of many small business owners nationwide. We provide education, technical support, and outreach. Outreach programs include youth sports, entrepreneurship, and mental health counseling.
