Join the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy to lead Family Nature Walk events every second Saturday from 9 AM to 11 AM every month. Leaders are required to go through training by shadowing current Nature Walk leaders. The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
Description
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
