SET BUILDER Description: Set builders work in the shop and on stage to construct the sets and scenic pieces that are designed specifically for each play or musical.
Responsibilities: Set builders must adhere to all safety rules regarding the use of power tools and wear protective clothing and eye gear. SET PAINTER Description: Set painters paint the sets and scenic pieces designed specifically for a play or musical.
Responsibilities: Set painters must adhere to all safety rules regarding proper ventilation and use of ladders. Paints must be labeled and stored properly after use. Sponges, brushes, rollers and other equipment must be cleaned thoroughly before leaving the job.
Scene Shop hours are Wednesday - Saturday 9:00 - 3:00

Description
The Naples Players is Naples' premier community theatre located in a state of the art facility opened in 1998. Volunteers fill every type of performance and production job available in 16 adult and youth productions on two stages annually. A volunteer force of 600+ members contributed over 60,000 hours this past year. KidzAct Youth Theatre of The Naples Players serves 700+ children annually providing basic to advanced theatre skills classes. The Naples Players is dedicated to providing high-quality arts access to every member of the community - including those with additional needs. The Naples Players provides acting classes for individuals with autism, anxiety, Parkinsons and sensory friendly performances.

The Naples Players offers numerous opportunities to volunteer with varying levels of commitment. From acting, backstage crew, costume shop, dance, hair & make up, lighting, props, set construction, and more, we have something for everyone.
All Volunteers must complete a volunteer application. Volunteers 18 years of age and older must be background screened.
